Munish Mehta

After graduating from the HBA/JD dual program at Ivey Business School at Western University, Munish started his legal career within a Bay Street law firm. He quickly realized his true passion was in practicing corporate and commercial law, which allowed him to bring together his business consulting and law experiences to date.  He is currently Corporate Legal Counsel for Zurich Canada, a leading global multi-insurance group. Munish is looking to mentor individuals who are pursuing careers as lawyers, both within as in-house counsel as well as law firms. He can also provide specific insights into working within the insurance industry.

Munish recently moved to Edmonton with his wife, who accepted a position as Professor at the University of Alberta. He's looking to meet new people, create new connections and hopefully volunteer more in the Edmonton and Alberta community! In the summer, Munish can be found on the golf course trying to improve his golf score (and is actively looking for new golf buddies!) and in the winter, can be found on the basketball courts or sitting at home watching the Leafs and Raptors.
