Ashwin Nath

Ashwin is located in BDO’s Edmonton office and focuses on various corporate finance and transaction engagements. More specifically, he specializes in M&A services, financial due diligence, financial modeling, and business valuations. He has over nine years of experience built on a strong foundation of knowledge which includes financial reporting, financial analysis, business processes, and internal controls.

Prior to joining BDO, Ashwin started his career at another international accounting firm focusing on the financial audits of public companies and large private companies. Pursuing a career in advisory, Ashwin moved into the corporate finance group where he went on to lead the Edmonton practice as an Associate Director. He has extensive experience with clients from various sectors such as manufacturing & distribution, agriculture/agribusiness, construction, food & beverage, and software/technology.

Ashwin is a Chartered Professional Accountant (2018), a Chartered Business Valuator (2020) and Project Management Professional (2023). Outside of work, Ashwin enjoys watching and playing a multitude of sports including soccer and hockey.
