A woman of vision, substance, and passion. Sangeeta Virmani is a Crown Prosecutor with the Province of Alberta and a former coveted beauty pageant title-holder.
She possesses a LLB that she obtained in Leicester, UK where she pursued her dream of becoming a lawyer. Shortly after obtaining her Law Degree, she further went to pursue her Master’s in Law.
As a former beauty pageant title holder, she has been successful in her pursuit of representing herself as a South-Asian woman and won her very first pageant when she became Miss Alberta South Asia in 2002, then shortly after became Miss India Canada 2003. At the Miss India Canada pageant, she was chosen by her fellow contestants as Miss Congeniality. Soon after, she won 1st Runner up at the Miss Glamour Bollywood in Toronto in 2006, and then won Miss Canada Moella in Vancouver, British Columbia in 2010.
She has always been very passionate in chasing her dreams in the entertainment industry, alongside her pursuit of her legal aspirations. She has had the privilege of working across the globe with renowned artists inclusive of, but not limited to: Legendary Dev Anand, Shahrukh Khan, Anil Kapoor, Suniel Shetty, Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Bobby Deol, and Akshay Kumar.
She is an advocate of women’s rights and was recognized as one of the most prominent South Asian Women in Alberta and her mission is to truly make a difference in the lives of others. In addition to a successful lawyer, she is a prominent emcee within the community.
