The Sifarish Network and CAREMA  hosted an important conversation about how disability is viewed and experienced in South Asian communities—where stigma, silence, and systemic challenges are still common. This event was a space for honest dialogue, shared stories, and community connection. We talked about how cultural expectations, family roles, and social pressures influence how disability is understood and talked about.
