Lali Toor is the Co-founder of Apna Hockey, the first South Asian based hockey network. After finishing his Bachelor of Science degree and pursuing his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Alberta, Lali founded the organization in April 2017 & later partnered with Dampy Brar in July 2017. The organization is at the forefront of social change in the game of hockey. Partnerships include the NHL, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames, Bauer Hockey, amongst others. In 2020, Dampy Brar was the recipient of the NHL Willie O’Ree Community Hero Award, marking the first South Asian to win an NHL award. Today, the organization looks to strategically grow the game of hockey through its comprehensive networks & connections.
