Soni Dasmohapatra

I am thrilled to join Sifarish. I am an assistant professor at MacEwan University in the arts and cultural management department. I also run a boutique consulting firm focused on arts, culture, heritage and holistic wellness.

I am a doctorate candidate at Royal Roads University.  My research areas focus on South Asian Diaspora, Canadian arts, culture and heritage legislation, program and policy and somatics, yoga and wellness. I run heritage bus tours in Millwoods and am interested in documentation of the history and present day stories of South Asians in Edmonton. I was born and raised in Edmonton, having spent time in Toronto. I now live in Edmonton with my family.
