I am originally a doctor from India and currently work with ATB bank. I started Galaxy Events Management Ltd. exactly one year ago with a vision to empower women and kids in particular and bringing together diffierent cultures through our events. Its after Covid that I realized there is a need for socialization and outdoor exposure for people in general, but, specifically for women and children being the most vulnerable segments. The post Covid data pointed at increased cases of domestic violence and depression in these segments. I believe women and kids are the backbone of our society and their well being accounts for a healthy, happy and prosperous community. Giving them avenues for expression and exposure of their talents can help achieve this goal. So, GEM aspires to maintain a good balance of promoting local, national and international talent as well as businesses. Through repeat marketing of various businesses at our events, we aim to expand their clientage and promote them through direct referrals as well. We do aspire to be the premier wedding planners and event planners for all kinds of events. However, our events are just a small part of our vision. Our main taregt is to build long term and invaluable connections . We want to generate smiles more than generating revenue. Simply put, the doctor inside me continues to live and work through GEM in creating healthier and happier communities.
