The Sifarish Network’s networking event will focus on sharing local business and professional subject matter experts sharing insights on the topics of Wellness, Innovation, and leadership. The Sifarish Network will highlight and showcase professionals with deep expertise through their work that are enhancing the vibrancy of Calgary by making an impact on collective wellness, innovation, and leadership in the city and province. The event will feature keynote speakers from local organizations, including  Canadian Football Hall of Famer ( Jon Cornish), and Dr. Shafeena Premji and Nitin Sathawane, each with a varying theme of their expertise as well as feature stories and anecdotes from their lives. The speaker’s portion of the event will be followed by a networking hour that includes free appetizers and 1 drink ticket.

Sifarish Background Information

• The Sifarish Network is a non-profit organization created to bring together, connect, and uplift the South Asian community at large with a laser focus on professionals and business people through the power of peer to peer networking and community activations.

• The meaning of Sifarish is commendation or recommendation. This defines the spirit of our group. Our aim is to create a social avenue and platform for South Asian professionals and business people to come together and support each other’s success through their professional and business journey and build bridges to the larger community in Canada.
