Sreeshailam Aare

Dr. Sreeshailam Aare is the founder and CEO of Haares ChemTech Inc. He brings his extensive knowledge in the complex organic synthesis, especially Lipids for Delivery Systems, Peptides, Carbohydrates and small molecule development to the company. With his thorough knowledge of project management and robust method development, he manages all the activities of the company, which include contract research, custom synthesis, process development, and commercial manufacturing. Dr. Aare has collaborated with various Universities (Stanford University, University of Alberta, Mississippi State University) on the development of novel organic semiconductors.  Dr. Aare’s organic semiconductors find use in ground breaking technologies such as next generation 3D printers, light emitting devices, electrochromic devices, solar cells, green hydrogen generators and water purification systems.

Prior to founding HAARES ChemTech, Dr. Aare served as a Founding partner and Director-Business Development at SRP Laboratories Pvt ltd, Hyderabad, India (2016-2020) and Founding partner and Director-R&D at ChemForce Laboratories Inc. (2013-2016), Edmonton. He has supervised teams of scientists working on drug discovery projects in the fields of drug delivery systems, oncology, anti-cancer medications, and cardiovascular disease. He is known to be an excellent mentor to chemists at different stages of their professional careers.

Dr. Aare received his PhD from Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT). As part of his PhD program, he visited University of Rennes-1, France and worked for 1 year under the supervision of Prof. Florence Mongin. He subsequently moved to Edmonton as an Industrial Post Doctoral Fellow (2011-2013). Both his doctoral and post-doctoral work resulted in potent drug molecules for cancer therapeutics and were published in many international peer-reviewed journals.
