A proud immigrant, Roselle was born and raised in Bombay, India, and immigrated to Canada at age 12. She grew up in the Toronto region, and completed a Bachelor's degree in Neuropsychlogy, as well as a Master's degree in Sexual Diversity and Religious Studies, both at the University of Toronto. She relocated to Alberta in 2010 to undertake a doctorate; her research focused on immigrant identities, and how immigrant communities create hybrid ways in which to be fully Canadian, while still holding onto their places of origin. She has built a career as an inclusion practitioner, working and teaching in the areas of equity, diversity, and inclusion; and within diverse sectors including social services, consulting, and post-secondary.
Currently, Roselle is the Head of Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging at ATB Financial, where she heads up the strategic initiatives to weave equity and inclusion into all aspects of the organization’s endeavours.
Roselle also serves on the Board of Governors at Curling Canada and on the Board of Directors of the John Humphrey Centre for Peace and Human Rights.
