Randy Sagoo

Randy has recently retired from the reinforcing steel industry after 35 years and now following another one of my passions of designing kitchens and baths, plus working on getting my interior design certification.

He has lived most of my life in Edmonton, but now in Surrey, BC. Moved to Edmonton from Toronto in 1977 and completed his high school and University in Edmonton. When we moved to Edmonton, there were very few Punjabi families there. So we had to endure a lot of racism and also learned a lot of ways to deal with all the racism.

Have been to 40 countries, every province in Canada and every state in the US.  So have a lot of connections around the world.

My family was the first to start a few things in Edmonton, first one to start a radio program in Punjabi and Hindi, first one to start showing Bollywood movies on the big screen and first ones to start an Indian grocery delivery service.
